We often joke that Allie is part cat - she is ALWAYS looking for more food and constantly mashing her "food" button. For such a heavily food-motivated dog, I started paying a lot more attention to what ingredients were going into the kibble, food and treats that we were feeding her. I wanted to make sure that she was getting food that would keep her healthy and strong. So when I started making my own treats, I want to keep that focus in mind - treats that have quality ingredients that provide a nutritional purpose.

I work hard to make sure that all of our treats are wheat, corn and lactose free. Each recipe is created to include a strong range of minerals, vitamins and other nutrients that provide our pups with the best we can give them. Wither it is a mid-sized treat to crunch on, a tidbit to help with training, or to use as a food topper, my goal is to make sure my treats don't have any hidden chemicals or ingredients that you couldn't eat yourself.

I truly hope that you and your pup enjoy our goodies!

OUR STORY

Growing up, we always had dogs. Big, rough and tumble dogs that we saved from the local pound. Bruno, who loved to visit the pig farm down the street (you can imagine how much my parents loved that!); Felix, who was my very own Snoopy, always enjoying the world from the top of his dog house; Julius, who could always find the best areas for raspberries (as long as you could get them before he ate them all); or Mattie chasing the shadow of birds as they crossed the farm (yes, the shadows, not the birds themselves!), dogs were a constant.

And then I finished university and went overseas with my now-husband. We had many great experiences, saw so much more of the world, and learned a ton. I loved my experiences in Asia, but I missed not having a dog. So when life brought us back to Canada, I was overwhelmed with joy when we decided to adopt a pup.
